My name is Bart Smith, owner of Southern Colorado area Crackerjack Mud Jacking. I was born in St. Paul Minnesota in 1960. My parents raised myself and three sisters in Cottage Grove Minnesota. In 1978 I began a twenty three year career with concrete reinforcement industry. I spent ten years of that career as a scheduler and supervisor, giving me experience I have used time and time again in our business. From the rebar trade I went to work in commercial construction. Having the experience and the required credentials in concrete, welding, heavy equipment and planning this was a perfect career move. In 2006 Jim Snyder approached me with the opportunity to become a part of his company, CrackerJack Mud Jacking; it was obvious the soils of my history in Minnesota did not compare with that of Colorado. After extensive research of the mud jacking industry and its application in Colorado our decision to become involved in the industry of raising concrete verses replacement were obvious. At that point, the process of being trained in the mud jacking trade began. Jim provided all the needed training and equipment to be successful and represent Crackerjack Mud Jacking immediately. My wife Cindy and I moved to Southern Colorado at the end of 2006 and fell in love with the people, scenery and climate. Our territory includes from Colorado Springs to Pueblo and includes Larkspur, Woodland Park and the surrounding areas where concrete lifting, concrete leveling and repair are needed.
